1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LocalGecko ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

LocalGecko is a local SEO management platform that provides citation management, review monitoring, Google Business Profile optimization, keyword tracking, location page generation, and competitor analysis tools.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans are billed in euros (EUR) on a monthly or annual basis
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service to generate spam, fake reviews, or misleading content

6. Data and content

You retain ownership of the business data you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service. We may collect and display publicly available business information (directory listings, reviews, etc.) as part of our service.

7. Third-party services

Our Service integrates with third-party platforms (Google, Yelp, etc.). Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific SEO results, rankings, or business outcomes. SEO data is sourced from third parties and may not always be accurate or up to date.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalGecko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
